Your plan includes a monthly pool of AI credits that every AI action draws from. Here's what each action costs: • 1 chat request — 1 credit • Using an external API (web search, video or audio transcription, or another outside service) — +1 credit • Using Postory's knowledge base — +0.5 credit • An AI post-assistant edit — 0.5 credit Examples: • A normal chat message with no extra lookups uses 1 credit. • A chat where we extract data from a video or article uses +1 credit — so 2 credits in total for that message. • A chat that looks something up in the knowledge base uses 1.5 credits. • A chat that does both (external data + knowledge base) uses 2.5 credits. Only successful requests are charged — if a request errors out, or you haven't selected an account for an action that needs one, no credits are deducted. Your allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle.

On paid plans, Postory analyzes your connected account and writes new posts in your own voice and style. On the Free plan the AI still writes for you, but in a generic voice — voice matching unlocks on Creator and above, since it builds on Profile Audit.

Profile Audit studies a social account — its voice, topics, posting times, and what's performing — and turns that into a profile the AI writes from. One 'audit' is one full analysis of one account: your own, or any public account you want to learn from. Creator includes 10 audits per month, Pro 60 per month, and Max 300 per month.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately — you're charged a prorated amount and the higher limits and features unlock right away. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep your current plan and limits until then, and the new plan starts on your next renewal.

When you run out of AI credits, you can upgrade to a higher plan for more — or wait for your allowance to reset at the start of your next cycle. Your existing posts, drafts, and media always stay accessible; you just can't generate new AI content until then.

Each plan includes a set number of direct publishes per billing cycle — posts you publish straight to a connected account, outside of scheduling. The Free plan includes 3 direct publishes per cycle; paid plans include more, shown on each plan card above. Scheduling posts has its own separate allowance, and the count resets at the start of every cycle.

Yes — the Free plan is free forever, no credit card required. It includes 8 AI credits per month, 1 connected account, and unlimited posts and drafts, so you can try Postory's core post creation before moving up to Creator, Pro, or Max.

You can cancel anytime from your billing settings — cancellation stops future renewals and your paid features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for. Paid plans are billed monthly and fees are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. EU/EEA consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on new purchases, subject to the conditions in our Terms. Questions? Email [email protected].
