Data Deletion Instructions

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data:

1. Log in to your Postory account
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll to the "Delete Account" section at the bottom
4. Click "Delete Account" and confirm your decision

Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Email [email protected] with:

• Subject: Data Deletion Request
• The email address you used to sign up for Postory
• Your connected platform usernames (Threads, X/Twitter, etc.) if applicable

We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.

You can disconnect your social media accounts directly from Postory on the Accounts page. You can also revoke Postory's access through each platform's settings:

• Threads/Meta: Go to your Threads or Instagram settings → Apps and Websites → Remove Postory
• X (Twitter): Go to Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Revoke Postory
• Google: Go to your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps → Remove Postory

After revoking access, email us using Option 2 so we can locate and delete any remaining data we hold.

After verifying your request, we permanently delete:

• Your account details (email, name, profile)
• All drafts, posts, and content generation history
• Social media connection data (Threads, X/Twitter, and other platform user IDs and access tokens)
• AI conversation logs, chats, messages and prompts
• Your preferences and settings

We may retain limited data if required by law, including:

• Records required for legal or tax compliance
• Minimal security or abuse-prevention logs
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics that no longer identify you

• Content already published to social media platforms (Threads, X, etc.) cannot be removed by us — you must delete it directly on those platforms
• Data previously sent to AI providers for content generation cannot be recalled from those services
• We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of verification
